I was just talking about how much I love pretzels, and now we have a great NYT article about it. Pretzels by themselves, pretzel bun sandwiches/burgers, pretzels with cheesy sauce, pretzel bun hot dogs, pretzels with mustard. I just love the salty goodness of them. I love the crusty outside and the soft doughy insides.
I think I may know what I want for lunch now! Mastro's has a killer pretzel bread in their bread basket. There's also this one stand at the Santa Monica farmer's market that cranks out amazing fresh, warm salted pretzels. Yum.
