Vien Dong | Garden Grove | 02.01.10

My family and I have eaten here for as long as I can remember. We just happened to go there for dinner yesterday night as well, and I'm happy to report that everything is still delicious. They now offer 40% on select items from their menu, including their traditional grilled pork served with vermicelli noodles and fresh lettuce and herbs (Bun Cha) from Hanoi. Sucky thing about this is, now that it's 40% less, the portion is also smaller.

We ordered several orders of the Bun Cha, the seared catfish with herbs and onions (Cha Ca), the tempura style sweet potato fritter with shrimp  (Banh Tom), rotisserie chicken with rice (Ga Roti) and a noodle soup with shredded chicken and thin cut layers of pan-fried egg (name escapes me at the moment).

I had a late lunch, so I didn't even think I was particularly hungry at the restaurant, but when the food came, I pretty much inhaled it. We like to order family style, just so everyone gets a taste of everything. It's delicious, and sits really well in your stomach. We're big fans of eating all the raw veggies and herbs and the pickled carrot and dikon radish add a punch of flavor.

The food always comes out amazingly fast, and this place is a great deal. There were eight of us and the bill came out to about $50.

  3. This characteristic is so imperative, not simply as far as the quality control of each dish that is served yet additionally as far as the kitchen tidiness, guaranteeing licenses are exceptional, that the booking framework works, the rundown goes on... In the event that you have a "reckless" state of mind then you won't most recent five minutes. Fort Wayne Restaurants
