Drool...This place is so good! I've never had better Cuban food. Sorry, that picture above just doesn't do the food justice. Everything was so flavorful and the portions were ridiculous. I stuffed my face, but still had a whole box to take home with me.

I ordered the roast pork (lechon asado), and it was probably one of the best roast pork dishes I've ever had (and I've had a lot of pork in my life)! Each piece of pork was crispy and chewy, but still moist and succulent. I'm seriously salivating as I write this review. So good. The dish came with rice and beans, and yucca with citrus garlic sauce. Everything was top notch, and it all came out piping hot, the way I like it.

Esther ordered the roast chicken with garlic onions (pollo asado), and that was delicious as well. The chicken was juicy, savory, and delightful. She had rice with beans on the side, alongside fried sweet plantains. Yum. The flavors perfectly complimented each other and created an explosion and goodness in your mouth.

In addition to our main dishes, we also ordered fried green plantains (tostones) and fried sweet plantains (platanos maduros). What can I say, we love plantains, especially the tostones. They were served with the citrus garlic sauce, and were absolutely addictive---crispy, salty, soft and chewy on the inside, and the sauce was rich with garlic flavor.

It was a decadent and comforting meal. The employees there were so friendly and sweet to us. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their menu!! I'm for sure ordering the roasted pork again though.
