.. in the holiday spirit ..

I've been pretty exhausted and worn out these last couple of weeks, but I'm finally really getting into the holiday spirit. I decided to wear a nubby, warm, oversized red sweater, and red, green, and gold floral scarf today just for that extra holiday kick.

I'm super late this year, but while shopping for wrapping paper and last minute gifts, I decided to buy some extra decorations for the house. I wish I had done it sooner, but better late than never. The greenery, juniper berries, twinkling lights, and sparkly tinsel do wonders to put things into perspective and get everyone in a cozy, holiday mood.

I adore this time of year. There's just nothing like it. So much love, joy, food, delicious hot toddies, and the promise of an amazing new year ahead.
