.. this week in fancy | 06.13.11 ..

Sorry for the absence, I've been working on a couple of different projects, and haven't gotten a chance to post anything new. Thought I'd do a quick fancy week in review of some of the things that have caught my eye!

** New listing at the OFT shop!

** Elle Fanning is so adorable. Love her, and she's an amazing actress! Super 8 was superb, and I totally recommend it to everyone. There's a scene where she pretends to be a zombie, which was kind of chillingly good. Here she is on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday. Her laugh is so infectious!!

** Holy crap, Game of Thrones was crazy this past Sunday. I just started reading the books, so I didn't know what was coming. (Spoiler alert) My friend warned me that no one was safe. I can't wait to see what's to come. The book and show have been great so far. Plus, the EW recaps each week are a nice little bonus.

** This GQ article with Chris Evans is so cute, dorky, and funny. I never really gave him any thought before, but wow, he's charming and self-deprecating! I think this piece will definitely win him some fans, and the writer, Edith Zimmerman, is adorable.

** I want these Louboutin shoes so bad. Just spectacular. Best think of a way to make more money fast!

** Trying to decide what to cook for Father's Day. I think I'll make a seafood stew (like a bouillabaisse), since my dad is a big fan of fresh seafood, and brothy deliciousness. In the meantime, I think I'm going to have something hearty for dinner tonight, similar to these smothered pork chops I made recently!
