.. the beginning ..

Wow, the inaugural post. Let's take a moment to soak this in.

To all you readers out there--just me, at the moment--this may not seem like a big deal, since everyone and their mother has a blog these days. Once upon a time, way back in 2003, I also had a blog, but it was for my eyes only and those of my closest friends. We divulged our most secret of secrets to one another on that blog (i.e., who hooked with whom and how drunk were you on that occasion).

Oh, how far we've come along since then. I'm ready now to share with you, dear readers. I contemplated about how to mark this momentous occasion, but alas, I'm at work and should probably get some actual work completed today.

Just know, that I'll be back--with comrades in tow--to discuss all that's fancy in my world. There's going to be a lot of "fancy this, fancy that!" from here on out. Trust.
