.. I loved the karate kid! ..

Holy crap, I had a great dinner tonight, some awesome happy hour drinks, and cried my way through the new Karate Kid movie. It was really good!! I didn't want to watch it, because I thought it was going to be too kiddie and corny, especially with the promos showing the whole "jacket on, jacket off" thing, but it totally worked. Seriously, I was crying a minute into the movie. Well done, that may be a record. Fear not though, I was totally laughing at moments, too. Jaden Smith is one talented kid, and Jackie Chan is as likable as ever. Here's the EW review if you don't want to take my word for it.

Hehe, for once Christian chose a good movie.
