.. time consuming art ..

Artist Ai Weiwei and 1600 assistants created "more than one hundred million hand-painted porcelain sunflower seed replicas" (The Berry). This installation is currently housed at Tate Modern's Turbine Hall. Take a look here and here, and just imagine the time and energy it took to complete this project. I wonder what will happen with all the little porcelain seeds, once it's no longer being showcased!
